Thallus off-white, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata black, inconspicuous, thin, sulcate, initially immersed, becoming semi-immersed to sessile, with a thin thalline margin, curved and sinuous, often branched, sometimes in substellate clusters, 1–3 (–4) mm long, 0.05–0.15 mm wide; lips closed, sulcate. Proper exciple apically carbonised. Hymenium 50–100 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, transversely (6–) 8–10-locular, 20–35 × 5–7 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |

An uncommon, corticolous species in eastern Qld and eastern N.S.W.; also in Indonesia and Costa Rica. | ||
